Q.
I've just received my Signature Pie. How do I bake it?

A. Signature Pies are delivered to you fresh baked. The baking is already done. All you need to do is cut, serve and enjoy the pie.

Q. Can these pies be reheated?

A. Do not try to reheat cream pies. Fruit and pecan pies can be reheated. They can be warmed in a 200 degree oven for approximately 10 minutes. Microwave heating by the slice is possible. Do not attempt to microwave any pie using the metal pie pan. Heat to your desired temperature.

Q. How long do the pies last?

A. The life of the pie depends on the type and means of storage. All of the Baker's pies have a shelf life without refrigeration or freezing.

Q. What is the shelf life of the pies?

A. Shelf life of fruit pies is 4 to 6 days. Shelf life of cream pies is 3 to 5 days. Shelf life of pecan pies is 10 to 14 days.

Q. How long do the pies last if refrigerated?

A. Depends on the Pie, Cream Pies and Fruit Pies will last 2 to 3 days longer than shelf life if refrigerated. Pecan Pies will last substantially longer if refrigerated.

Q. Can the pies be frozen and for how long?

A. Yes. You can freeze the pies for 2 to 3 months. If you freeze the pie the day it is delivered, full shelf life will be retained once you thaw the pie.

Q. I froze my pie and am taking it out of the freezer for dinner tonight. What should I do?

A. Take the pie out of the freezer and let it thaw to room temperature. You should allow at least 3 to 4 hours for cream and fruit pies. Allow 5 to 6 hours for a pecan pie.

Q. How are the pies boxed for shipping?

A. Pies are boxed in a standard baker's cardboard box which is placed in a mailing box for shipping. If you prefer you can order a personalized wooden keepsake Pie Box at PersonalBoxes.com.

Q. Who do you use for Shipping?

A. Texas Lone Star, USP and USPS 2-3 day, overnight extra.

PersonalBoxes.com - You can have the sides and/or lids personalized on your Pie Box. This makes a unique gift for your employees, vendors, customers, friends or family. We have four (4) processes for personalizing your Pie Box; Branding, Laser Engraving, Silk Screening and Stenciling.

Q. How long does the personalization process take?

  • Branding takes 2 - 3 weeks from the time you give the approval of the proof.
  • Laser engraving takes 10 days from the time you give the approval of the proof.
  • Slik Screening takes 10 days from the time you give the approval of the proof.
  • Stenciling takes 24 - 48 hours from the time you place your Order.
  • Rush Orders are available for an additional fee. Please call.

Q.What do I send you to personalize my Box?

A.For corporate accounts provide your logo in an Adobe Illustrator esp. file and/or Jpg file. Consumers with single orders will be placed though the PersonalBoxes.com website. Simply supply your personilized message in text format and you can also add graphics from our Stencil Gallery. For corporate accounts once your logo has been sized and formatted, we will send you a proof for approval.

Q. What is the cost?

  • $300.00 (One-time charge if Branding Iron is used)
  • $40.00 (Set-up Fee)
  • Blank Box Lids are $1.50 each.
  • $1.00 - $6.00 per surface depending on volume and type of process (ie. Branding, Laser Engraving, Silk Screening, Stenciling).
  • Shipping cost for lids only (determined by size of the order).
  • For your convenience, we are pleased to store your lids in our warehouse. Your inventory of personalized lids will always be ready for immediate shipping.
  • You will be assigned a product number to use when you place your orders. It is required that you use your product number for each order placed in order to assure that each order is shipped with your personalized lid.
  • You will be charged for each Pie Box and Pie plus shipping and handling for each recipient in your Order.
  • All Discounts are based on volume. We are pleased to provide a Bid to meet your needs.
